HVLS fan installation in Ontario
We install GALE Series HVLS fans in warehouses, plants and farm buildings across Ontario. One team handles the site assessment, the layout, the equipment, the installation and the follow-up checks.
If you already have an electrician you trust, we can supply the equipment and they can install it.
Two ways to work with us
Full installation
We plan the layout, supply the fans and drives, and install them with a licensed electrical contractor who takes out the ESA permit. We work with a lift rental partner, or use your lift if you have one on site. You deal with one team from the site visit to the final check.
Supply only
Your own electrician installs, with their own ESA permit. We size the fans, plan the layout and deliver CSA approved equipment to your site.
Either way, the price you get covers the fan, the drive, shipping to site and CSA approval.
How an installation works
- 1
Incentive pre-check
For Ontario projects, we check whether your building may qualify for the Enbridge incentive before anything else. This takes 1 to 2 business days.
- 2
Site assessment
We look at your floor area, ceiling height, roof structure, supply voltage, heating system and how the space is used. Final incentive eligibility is confirmed here.
- 3
Fan and drive selection
We match the GALE Series model to your ceiling height and floor area, and the drive to your supply voltage. We plan where each fan hangs, clear of lights, racking, cranes and ducting.
- 4
Delivery
Every GALE Series fan is CSA approved. We handle shipping to your site.
- 5
Mounting
The fan is mounted to your roof structure and secured with four guy wires and an anti-drop device, which come standard with every GALE Series fan.
- 6
Wiring and controls
A licensed electrician runs power to the drive and the fan, and connects the controls. The ESA permit covers this work.
- 7
Commissioning
We run each fan through its speed range, check it runs smooth and quiet, and set it up for summer and winter use. We measure airflow before and after, so you can see the difference.
- 8
Follow-up
We check in at 7 days and again at 1 year to make sure everything is running as it should.
Mounting
GALE Series fans mount to I-beams, concrete, tube and angle bar structures. We look at the roof structure during the site assessment. If anything about it needs extra hardware or a closer look, you'll know before the quote, not on install day.
Electrical
Each fan runs from its own drive. We match the drive to your building's supply, including 208V, 240V and 600V services.
The wiring is done by a licensed electrical contractor under an ESA permit, whether that's our electrician or yours.
What we need from you
- Floor area and ceiling height, and a floor plan if you have one
- Your supply voltage and where the panel is
- How the building is heated
- When installers can work, including evenings or shutdowns
- Whether you have a lift on site, and whether you have your own electrician
Timing
A typical project runs 50 to 60 working days from first measurement to verified performance. Most of that is equipment lead time. Installation itself is usually a day or two per building, and we schedule it around your operation.
Warranty and support
Every GALE Series fan comes with a 3-year warranty and 10 years of support. The PMSM direct drive motor has no gearbox, so there's no oil to change.
Outside Ontario
We supply equipment across Canada. Outside Ontario, we find and qualify local installers in your area and supervise the installation. The installer's cost is quoted to you as-is.
The Enbridge incentive
Qualifying Ontario warehouse projects can get $3,000 to $4,000 per fan through Enbridge Gas. We check your building before you get a proposal and handle the paperwork.
